Managing Director
Scott has been a Director at Techne Group since 2009. As Managing Director Scott is responsible for the strategic direction of the group and managing the development process and leaders of each health business. Our development focus is based on delivering projects that exceed our tenants and investors expectations. Our health focus is about loyal relationships with practitioners and the broader community as we have over 50,000 patients and 230 team members.
James Veitch
General Manager - Commercial
James joined the Techne Group following many years of experience in the Property Industry across commercial and residential development. James focus is on enhancing commercial and development relationships and managing the mature Property Trusts from a commercial perspective. James also assists with commercial support to the health businesses leaders in the group.
Kerryn Bruce
General Manager - Operations
Kerryn is responsible for the management and administration of all properties, property trusts and businesses within the Techne Group. Kerryn is also Company Secretary and is a core member of our leadership team offering invaluable support and leadership to all entities.
Rod Carmody
General Manager - Finance
Rod is a senior finance executive with many years’ experience within a number of diverse industries. That experience includes within the Sport, Registered Clubs and hospitality industries, as well as a number of years with the Myer Family Office looking after high net worth family groups. His last 6 years have been as CFO for a medium sized Residential Custom Home builder.
Techne Invest is a Joint Venture between Techne Group and Invest Lease represented by Directors Scott Vickers-Willis, Nick Riewoldt and Matt O’Halloran. Techne Invest’s current major project is the Central Hobart Office Project which is a transformational project in the Hobart CBD unlocking new civic amenity and delivering PCA A Grade Office accommodation.

Scott brings the Techne Group’s deep experience in delivering complex projects for multiple stakeholders and is passionate about achieving a positive outcome for tenants, investors, the City of Hobart and the broader community.
Matt O'Halloran
Director
With three decades of commercial real estate experience across Australian markets, Matt provides executive expertise and strategic thinking to every project. He has deep domain knowledge in transactions, leasing, development, and capital structuring. Matt's track record includes leading a billion-dollar investment and development portfolio at Grollo Group, and overseeing a $1.6 billion senior loan portfolio at Merricks Capital, in addition to his recent role as Head of Development at Quintessential. Joining Techne Invest as a Director and Shareholder, Matt is passionate about urban renewal, specifically in Hobart, and aims to deliver exemplary projects for government and occupiers.
Nick Riewoldt
Director
Nick joined Techne Invest as a Director and shareholder and the Techne Group more broadly to conceive, plan and deliver this transformational project for Hobart. As a passionate Tasmanian Nick is well known across Australia for his leadership skills that he is also currently applying across major technology infrastructure projects globally from his current base in Houston Texas. Nick is uniquely placed to drive collaboration and value for investors and other stakeholders through each phase of the development process.
